North Carolina is home to thousands of American loving patriots. Also home to thousands of gun owners. Whether owning guns to hunt, collecting, or for home/self defence, it is a right for every American to be able to purchase and carry that firearm. In NC, a CCW is required to be able to conceal carry a handgun. Minimum age requirement to get a CCW is 21. Though, NC allows open carry. Majority of major retail stores and resturants do not allow open carry (ex: Walmart, Target, Walgreens, Trader Joes, etc). It is important to many families and individuals in general, who would like to protect themselves, their families, and/or others, to be able to carry. But, if a individual is 18-20 and a business does not allow open carry then that person would be defenceless if anything were to happen. So, NC should be a Constitutional Carry state. So everyone who is legally able to purchase a firearm is able to carry. If 18 year olds are able to join the military and fight in wars, they should be able to buy handguns and be able to conceal carry.
