Thank you so much for your support over the past year as we have been struggling to be heard by the County.  At 8 pm, September 6th, the County Council voted to approve an ordinance for Rosehaven Manor by a vote of 5 out of 7.  YES!!!  WE WERE APPROVED TO MOVE FORWARD!

Now, we can proceed with finishing the new traffic light intersection at Route 144 and Linganore Road, conveying the historic Rosehaven Manor home to the Jones family and platting the lots that made it possible to fund these betterments for the County.  We can finally create a community where Frederick residents LOVE WHERE THEY LIVE.

Your involvement in this petition made a huge difference!  To say that we have 1,200 names on our petition in the public hearings made a strong statement.  Several on this list sent emails to the Council Members and made a further very meaningful impact.  The Council Members heard your voices and acted accordingly.  If you would like to thank the Council Members in some manner, the five Council Members voting in favor were Steve McCay, Phil Dacey, Michael Blue, Jessica Fitzwater and Kai Hagen.  Each of these Members did well to listen to our plight and meet with us at the site.

Thanks again.  Feel free to reach out to us anytime.
