Hello Everyone, Thanks to everyone who participated in the Twitter action two weeks ago. I recently came across an article about a mascot who is parting ways with an NFL team after they refused to pay him $20,000 per game. He is currently paid $1,500 a game, and when I read this, I thought about how most cheerleaders are lucky to make $100 per game! This is just another example of how the NFL still has a long way to go to show their respect for the rights of cheerleaders. Minimum wage may be a step up for these women, but it is a joke in comparison to what some mascots and other staff are making. Please tweet at the NFL and remind them that over 150,000 people want cheerleaders to get a fair wage: http://ctt.ec/934gL. Also, keep in mind when sharing this petition with your friends and family that this fight is not limited to the NFL. An NBA dancer just sued her former team because they were only paying her $3.50-$4.50 an hour: http://fortune.com/2015/09/28/nba-cheerleader-wages/. Thanks Again, Diane Todd
