Well, we had what we thought was a productive meeting.  The Chairman assured me he was in our corner and that he cheers for the underdog, blah, blah, blah......

Then we received communication from the County Planning and Development Department that absolutely nothing had changed.  They are still requiring the same ridiculous nonsense....things like this:  ALL my staff has to be registered, my veterinary license must be registered at the address of the clinic.  These two items are under state jurisdiction and the county has no say whatsoever in their implementation or enforcement.  The state Veterinary Practice Act is the governing authority.  More county overreach.

They claim to have read the packet of information we sent them, but in that packet were items that specifically addressed requirements and satisfied certain requirements, these items were ignored.

The County is on all out witch hunt mode when it comes to my business.  Keep in mind that this business has faced exactly zero public opposition.  Not one county resident or any other individual showed up at the county meetings to oppose this business.  And in spite of this, the county is persisting in harassing us.  

Please keep sharing and signing and also continue to contact the Commissioners.  At some point they are going to get really tired of being contacted so much.  We have to keep up the pressure.  The Planning Department are all unelected officials.  They were not chosen by the residents and they obviously do not care what the residents of the county want.
