The Napoleon Motorsports Electric Camaro is not allowed to race at Formula D due to a city ordinance that doesn't allow electric vehicles to race against gasoline powered vehicles. Electric cars are allowed on the track, but since this race is in the streets of Long Beach, the city ordinance bars the Camaro from racing.   

We need this city ordinance to be lifted to allow electric vehicles to race. It is unfair to the Napoleon Motorsports team who have put in countless time and money into their EL1 all electric Camaro, just to be turned away on the opening race weekend of Forumla D due to a city ordinance.
