Dear friends and supporters, As most of you know, the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals has granted an April 7 hearing in Billy's case. His legal team has requested that the Alabama Supreme Court stop the previously scheduled March 19 execution and submitted a motion to the Alabama Supreme Court asking for a "stay". The State of Alabama has said that it won't oppose Billy's request regarding the March 19 date. But the Court has not yet ruled on the motion requesting the stay. We will be sure to post an update as soon as the Court rules on this.
