Riverside County, stop having an Exit Shelter Deadline list!

Riverside County, stop having an Exit Shelter Deadline list!
The Issue
It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to you today about a desperate situation concerning a healthy Rottweiler named Dodger and a young, healthy mastiff named Kaya. Dodger, Kaya, Dorito, Balto, etc were killed at the San Jacinto animal shelter. We demand this shelter stops killing dogs and truly become no kill.

Dodger was a victim of an unfortunate circumstance. He suffered from kennel stress, a condition aggravated by the high-pressure, noisy environment of the shelter, which has unfairly rendered them fearful and anxious. The stress he experienced were wrongly interpreted as aggression. Several dogs, including a very sweet and gentle dog named Butter, were killed March 13 at 5pm. https://24petconnect.com/RVSDPublicSanJacinto
Tragically, Dodger was not visible to the public, increasing his chances of receiving negative evaluations solely based on his stressed demeanor rather than his true, gentle nature. He desperately needed a second chance, a family and home where he could feel safe, loved, and regain his confidence. Yet the shelter killed him. He died in hell. So did Kaya.
Our plea is simple: give other dogs the chance to live. Their lives should not be cut short due to temporary fearfulness that any dog would exhibit under similar circumstances. We urge the shelter to reconsider and give all animals the opportunity to be taken in by loving adopters or rescue groups who can provide them with the proper assessment and care he deserves.
To everyone reading this, these lives are on a ticking clock. Your signature on this petition can be the difference between life and death for them. It can highlight the need for immediate intervention, potentially sparing more animals from Dodger's unjust fate. Please, do not delay. Take action now to help more animals walk out alive and find the loving home they so desperately need.
Please sign this petition to give other animals the chance of a happy future, and together, we can make a difference in their lives.
Please stop these euthanasia deadlines! https://24petconnect.com/RVSDPublic/Details/RVSD3/A1901730?fbclid=IwVERDUAQhR2tleHRuA2FlbQIxMABzcnRjBmFwcF9pZA8xNzM4NDc2NDI2NzAzNzAAAR4tCipDEHUbJrfgNBTXaY7Ka4vr1fMboCfoTHhe1er4SeSPNYv2OqLDQ_hqGw_aem_IfRKbnb3YHfAqCtf178a5w
