Petitioners, there will be a very important Planning Commission hearing addressing the revised Short Term Rental ordinance on Wednesday April 20th at 9am in Riverside. Our group has arranged for two vans to drive folks to the hearing. The vans will be leaving Idyllwild around 7:30am on the 20th. There are currently spots for up to 14 people with a donation request of $10 to cover fuel and driver expenses. 

This is our opportunity to directly voice our concerns to the Commission about the draft ordinance: 1) how will the several of the good provisions in the draft such as inspections and a two night minimum stay actually be enforced? 2) noise levels from STR's must be properly addressed; 3) will the county continue to approve STR's when our community is already getting overrun by them or will they grant our request for a cap as other communities have done? 

In many ways this is the culmination of all our efforts to date. Please consider attending to have your voice heard! We know there will be pro STR groups in attendance.
