Dear RF Sand Volleyball Courts supporters, Great news! The Park District Board is holding a Special Board Meeting on Monday, June 6th, 6:00 PM at the Keystone Center, 7920 Central Avenue to solicit public comment on the petition to install the 2 sand volleyball courts in Constitution Park. This meeting is for soliciting pubic comment only and the Board will not take action until their June 13th Board Meeting. A letter has been sent to the residents on Ashland and Franklin notifying them of the meeting, and the notice is posted on social media. Thank you for your written support so far. Please mark this meeting in your calendars and, if at all possible, please attend the meeting. Every initiative in River Forest always has a few opponents and it would be helpful for the Park District board and any potential opponents to see the support that this petition is generating.
