Heartfelt thanks to all of you who signed the petition asking for our dock to be restored after a year of closure.  After 4 days, we now have almost 120 signatures and have filed this petition with Community Board 12 in Manhattan, the NYC Parks Department and Columbia University.  We are requesting to make public to the Community Board on May 25th and the CB Park Committee on June 8th.

We also have learned from another community member, that the agreement between Columbia and NYC Parks Department is up for renewal May 30, 2021.  The stipulations of that agreement are attached to this letter if you would like to read.  We are now also asking that this agreement not be renewed until Columbia University complies with the initial agreement and provides access.  

We will continue to keep you posted on our journey. We are so grateful for your time to read and sign.  We will be keeping the petition open for the next month at least so if you care to share with others, please do.
