There has been an operational review at the Pannawonica Medical Centre and the contract for medical services is up for tender. Many residents believe the existing medical facility and service is of an acceptable standard. Our community are very willing to accept any improvements that could be offered from this review, but are opposed to any reduction in doctors availability, the two hour trip to attend the nearest doctor would make a big difference in a life threatening situation.
