UK Update - Monday - Formal Re-engagement Following Process

A quick, important update on the withheld court funds.

For those who are new here, we previously reached out to the MP regarding this matter. The MP is fully aware of the withheld court funds, however due to process he was not able to assist in the capacity I had hoped for at that time.

Since then, we have taken every possible step to do this the right way - following due process correctly, raising procedural escalations, and engaging fully with the relevant internal investigations team (all correspondence and receipts have been kept).

We believe we have now completed those required steps. On that basis, we formally reached out to the MP again on the 22nd of September 2026, to seek his guidance on next steps, particularly as this distressing matter continues to contribute to delays with my court hearing.

This delay is also delaying my peace of mind and closure, as I continue to seek the post-mortem images and medical records of the body identified as my brother. To be clear, I do not believe my brother was in that vehicle. If this is confirmed to be my brother, why is there such a delay in providing the records that would allow for proper verification?

Please note, my barrister has been copied into this correspondence and is fully aware and formally engaged on this matter.

We are simply asking for the process to be reviewed so the funds can be released without further delay to the hearing.

I will share a further update as soon as we hear back from the courts, and the MP.
