Update:
We've received a response from the Cheshire Police Professional Standards Department (PSD), but unfortunately, they haven't provided the details we requested on why they're not investigating further. We've escalated this to the IOPC and asked them to look into the matter.
This lack of transparency is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about my human rights to a fair process. My barrister, Timothy Becker, is aware of the situation and is working with me to take this further.
We now have 28 days to contact the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire (OPCC) to file a formal complaint. The OPCC helps the Cheshire police deliver on their duties, which include setting police priorities, and holding the Chief Constable to account.
We will exhaust all available avenues, and resources to obtain a thorough and detailed report, because Jlloyd was NOT in that vehicle when it exploded.
