In October of 2022, Mr. Richard "Mark" Newhouse was hired by a funeral home in Pensacola, FL to operate and provide cremation services for it, as well as the three other funeral homes in it's corporate chain.

On Tuesday, Jan 17, 2023 a fellow employee testified that they walked in and found Mr.  Newhouse engaging in an act of necrophilia with a deceased human body at the crematory building that he was employed at.

 Upon discovery, Mr. Newhouse fled the crime scene in his vehicle and was later found by local sheriff's deputies dead of a self induced gun shot wound.

 Mr. Newhouse's family have decided to have him interred in a National Cemetery and this is a slap in the face to every veteran buried there and a desecration of the holy ground that cradles them in their final resting place.
