Revoke Utah's "Ag-Gag" Law

Revoke Utah's "Ag-Gag" Law
The Issue
There are two extremely good reasons to revoke Utah's "Ag-Gag" law (Title 76 Chapter 6 Part 1 Section 112).
1) It is an infringement of free speech
2) It hinders progress toward environmentally sound, humane, and cruelty-free treatment of all animals, particularly those used in agriculture.
(Those wanting more information on ag-gag laws can start here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ag-gag)
Animals in factory farms have living conditions that can only be described as hell. While much progress has been made, Utah is still one of the worst states for animal protection legislation, according to the Animal Legal Defense Fund. Please be the leaders we need, and help Utah step up and do what's right. Ag-Gag laws only make that harder.
We your constituents respectfully ask that you follow the recent example of our Idaho neighbors and introduce legislation to revoke this law that only serves to impede progress. While privacy issues are a valid concern, other legislation addresses this, and Utah's "Ag-Gag" law is only redundant in harmful ways.
Lets show the country and the world that Utah is a place of love and thoughtful stewardship for all of God's creatures.
