Our latest research, involving 100 transgender individuals, reveals the severe mental health impacts caused by denying access to this essential care. An alarming 83.5% of respondents reported self-harm, and 71.4% struggled with suicidal thoughts. For many, the inability to access puberty blockers has led to irreversible changes, exacerbating gender dysphoria and mental health crises.

Puberty blockers provide a critical pause, allowing transgender youth the time and space to explore their gender identity without the irreversible effects of puberty. Denying this care not only violates their right to health but also puts their lives at risk.
