I am a Hayle resident with a disabled 5-year-old child who lives in constant fear due to the constant noise and arguments from our neighbours. The situation has become disruptive to her well-being, waking her as early as 5am, causing distress and fear.

Noise pollution affects our mental and physical health. It's documented by the World Health Organisation that chronic noise exposure can lead to anxiety, stress, and cognitive impairment in children (WHO report, 2018). Every child deserves to grow in a peaceful and safe environment, and the current situation is depriving my child of this right.

Hayle is a small but closely-knit community, and it's essential that we prioritize the well-being of our most vulnerable residents. We must urge local authorities and Housing Associations to take firm and decisive action against tenants who persistently disrupt our tranquil community with noise pollution.
