The MAA has put into effect "ageblocking", where people under 13 are not allowed to participate in the AIME. As a young student myself who desires to qualify for AIME, I feel very unhappy that they have put these changes into effect.

Please join me in petitioning the MAA to revoke their recent changes to the AIME and preserve the spirit of creativity and equity in math competitions. Sign this petition to show your support in defending educational fairness and innovation.

Thank you for your time.
