I am writing this petition out of personal pain and a deep desire for justice. My wife, like many others, grew up as a prisoner and victim of the Independent Fundamental Baptist (IFB) Church. The trauma inflicted by this organization is lifelong, leaving its victims to grapple with the aftermath even after they have managed to escape.

The IFB church has been involved in numerous cases of abuse and manipulation under the guise of religious freedom. Their actions are not just morally reprehensible but also fit the FBI's definition of domestic terrorism - violent criminal acts committed by individuals or groups to further ideological goals stemming from domestic influences such as those of a political or religious nature.

We demand that all organizations related to or supporting the IFB church lose their 501(c)3 status. This tax exemption should not be granted to entities that inflict harm on their members in pursuit of their ideological goals.

Furthermore, we call upon our government agencies to recognize these organizations and their members as Domestic Terrorists per FBI's definition due to their history of violence, abuse, manipulation, and control over innocent lives for ideological gains.  They pervert the Bible and are the wolves disguised as Christians.

This is about countless other victims who have suffered at the hands of these organizations. It's time we take action against such entities that use religion as a shield for perpetrating heinous crimes against humanity.
