I am a passionate fan of Stranger Things, as many are. Many reveled in collecting the unique Funko Stranger Things action figures that brought our beloved characters to life through out the years from different companies. Unfortunately, our joy has been overshadowed by the scarcity and high resale prices of these collectibles. The simplicity and attention to detail in these figures provided some fans a connection to the show. This is most noticeable with the Funko Stranger Things action figures released around 2017. At that time The show only had one season with the second season being hyped up for its release in October , there were only a few Funko Pops based on the show, and some people were still saying Justice for Barb. A much simpler time for the long time fans of the show.

The 10th anniversary of Stranger Things is on the horizon in July 2026 , as well as the release of its final season in 2025. This is a monumental time for the show and its fans, and it should be celebrated accordingly. What better way than to re-release the Funko Stranger Things action figures – including the 2017 Convention exclusive three-pack with all three chase figures - and pay a tribute to this iconic Netflix show of the mid 2010s ? 

Funko has previously rereleased / done repacks on certain items, like the Jurassic World live tour two pack , many multi packs, and the numerous black light/chrome/gold Funko Pops. The appeal to bring back the Stranger Things series of figures by Funko is therefore not without precedence. By demanding the revival of production on these action figures, we are merely asking for the same consideration. This re-release could help to standardize prices and make the figures more accessible to the wider fan base, fostering greater availability within our community.

We urge you to recognize the significant value of these figures to Stranger Things fans, not simply as cheaply made commercial products, but as cherished symbols from the show's earlier days. It’s about time for fans be able to have access to these affordable action figures again. Sign this petition to ask Funko to bring back the Stranger Things action figures for the 10th anniversary or the upcoming final season. If this succeeds we could also get the return of the IT 2017 Funko action figures too. Since those are also being resold online for such outrageous prices too. Especially with the release of IT Welcome to Derry coming soon , the IT 2017 Funko action figures will skyrocket in price.
