I'm  writing on the behalf of families whose trying to get the proper help for their love ones, who suffer with Mental Health issues. It should not take an horrific situation for someone who is in crisis to get the help they need. So many deaths and unnecessary injuries could have been prevented, if we had a better plan set up for Mental Health.  From calling the crisis line, to making sure the patient is taking their medication on time and not missing their appointments. Changing the time limit for a hospital stay really need to be changed.  Putting a person suffering with mental health in jail with the general population is very dangerous and need to be changed.  There's so many people who's suffering and not getting the proper help they need, due to the laws that was put in place. Please sign this petition and lets change these laws.
