I am, like many others, a devoted citizen who works diligently to save in a country struggling with rising inflation. Despite the national challenges, like infrastructure deficiencies even in our metropolitan cities, I strive for stability through hard-earned savings and investments. Amidst all these struggles, the disparity in our tax regimes exacerbates the burden. The current taxation system, where the salaried class is burdened disproportionately, is unjust and lopsided.

Regrettably, this is not just my story. It is the narrative of countless taxpayers in the Indian subcontinent, who work hard only to have their income over-taxed without any considerable benefits or concessions in return. Furthermore, this indirect taxation strategy adds to our financial stress. It is a high time we demand a change.

We believe that the current direct tax regimes need to be revised to a justifiable percentage, creating a fairer distribution of financial burden among all classes of society. A transparent and equitable tax regime is fundamental to ensuring the economic progression and financial stability of our people, fostering a more inclusive society.
