I am writing as a concerned citizen and wildlife advocate regarding current bald eagle intervention and protection policies in the United States. 

Recent nesting seasons have highlighted growing challenges involving avian influenza exposure, infrastructure-related fatalities, extreme weather events, and limitations surrounding emergency intervention procedures for distressed eaglets and juvenile eagles. While existing protections have played an essential role in bald eagle recovery, I believe certain management policies may benefit from review and modernization in response to evolving environmental conditions. While these have been live-streamed for the world to see, we sadly just sit watch these eaglets succumb to their fate.
