I am starting this petition to ask local authorities to review the decision to release a suspect connected to the murder of my sister onto house arrest after he broke his hip while in county jail.

While I understand that medical issues sometimes require accommodations, my family and many members of the community are deeply concerned about the decision to allow this individual out of custody while serious charges related to my sister’s death are still pending.

My sister’s life mattered, and our family deserves to know that the justice system is taking this case seriously and prioritizing public safety. Releasing someone connected to such a serious case can cause fear and distress for the victim’s family and the community.

We respectfully ask the court and local authorities to review this decision and ensure that appropriate measures are taken while this case moves forward through the legal process.
