Petition from Class 12 CBSE students who recently received their results:

A large number of students across the country have received unexpectedly low marks this year, and many concerns are being raised regarding the new on-screen marking system. Teachers themselves reportedly received little to no proper training before evaluation began, yet students were made to face the consequences of this sudden experiment.

This is not just about marks it directly affects college admissions, scholarships, cutoffs, and students’ futures.

On top of this, students are now expected to pay high fees for:

• Revaluation

• Improvement exams

• Access to scanned answer sheets

We respectfully request CBSE to consider one of the following:

1. Provide revaluation, answer-sheet copies, and improvement exams either free of cost or at a very minimal fee for this batch.

2. Conduct a proper rechecking/reassessment of answer sheets and release revised results wherever necessary.

Students should not have to suffer because of flaws in a newly introduced evaluation system.
