Ohio governor Mike DeWine has passed a bill for phone to be banned all day in school. This includes lunch, passing periods, and field trips. Phones should be monitored on moderation not completely banned. This can pose severe issues in the modern day society with the ample amounts of gun violence and threats about gun violence. Our modern day society is built around technology and many children and teens were raised to constantly have some kind of screen in their face. Technology is a useful tool and you shouldn’t be able to take it away because you decided you no longer like it.
