At the 2024 North Ayrshire Council Budget Meeting the administration decided to slash the support council gives to groups for the installation of Christmas Lights. 

After months of silence and no communication from North Ayrshire, an FAQ document was sent to community event groups in towns across North Ayrshire to inform them that they were now expected to cover the cost of installation, testing and more. 

We are therefore calling on North Ayrshire Council's administration to reverse the cut and to support towns across North Ayrshire to have Christmas lights!
