Bristol CCG and Bristol Mental Health Partnership and AWP Trust, have stated they would like to close the Bristol Crisis Line.The organisations mentioned say they have done it, on the back of mixed reviews. They did not seek out alternatives on how the line could be developed and the actual demand for the line and the alternative types of the line, instead they only asked a limited number of service users. Given this many service users of mental health services either first time or current users, will suffer.
