Petition updateReverse the ban on professional dog walking in GreenburghGREENBURGH PARKS BOARD DISAPPOINTS

To sum it up, from a bystander that attended the meeting:

“Very upsetting. Room of 15 people, all have the privilege of not needing a dog walker except 1. So much nimbyism in Westchester. If you ban a pack but not a single walker, the people afraid of dogs are still going to be afraid of dogs. Sad to see how little they engaged. Every angle we tried fell on deaf ears. It was really gross.

If this does not anger you, I’m not sure how to make the point bigger. Our local government is obligated to promote change that benefits the changing needs of the community, not stay stagnant with out dated laws and cherry picked fabricated evidence.

The next step would be a call for a change in power for Greenburgh politicians. The town supervisor has never had to be elected and it shows. Paul Feiner consistently runs unopposed for his position and has long outstayed his welcome. The town board members are also complacent in their duties to the community. WE vote for THEM. THEY work for US. We cannot let them forget the fact that they are easily replaceable and are NOT owed their jobs.

Keep sharing the petition and sending letters! We cannot be silent and allow small business in Greenburgh to suffer!

Thank you, and keep up the good fight!!
