UPDATE FROM WAGS 10/14/25

Today brought major changes, and tomorrow’s meeting could be a turning point.

1. Tomorrow’s Greenburgh Parks Meeting

Tomorrow evening, a small group of us will meet with the Greenburgh Parks Advisory Board. I’ve been told they plan to present me with a letter essentially stating, “I agree to limit to 3 dogs and will not break Greenburgh’s rules.”

Signing anything like that is not an option. This is not about one business. It’s about fairness, due process, and the right for all of us to operate ethically and responsibly. The last time I appeared before this board, they had made their decision before the discussion even began, and they admitted as much. Signing a predetermined document helps no one—it would silence legitimate local business concerns.

That said, I will attend respectfully and honor their request to bring only three guests. I’m doing this to demonstrate good faith. Acting in good faith does not seem to be Greenburgh’s strong suit.

2. Expanding Enforcement – The County Steps In

This morning, two of our fellow walkers—Grayson and Ryan—were removed from Sprain Ridge Park, a county park, under a newly enforced three-dog-per-person rule. They were told professional dog walking and training services are prohibited entirely in county parks under the same rule now published on the official County Parks site.

This includes parks like V.E. Macy, Ridge Road Park, and the Bronx River Parkway trail, where commercial dog walking is now explicitly banned. Meanwhile, other commercial activities—such as food trucks or TV productions—remain permitted through standard licensing. The inconsistency here is glaring, and it’s worth addressing publicly and legally.

3. Next Steps and Community Action

Our next move is to expand our outreach. Please resend your letter—this time to the County

Please continue to cc me, I read all of your wonderful letters!

My non-Greenburgh clients, this is where I can really use your help as well!

You can reuse your Greenburgh letter, simply updating the names and references.

Two key goals remain:

• Keep dialogue open while challenging unfair enforcement.

• Strike while our issue has momentum. Media attention and public awareness are growing daily.

At this time, I’m holding off on giving media interviews until after the Parks meeting out of respect for the process. Others may choose to comment independently, but unified messaging remains our best strategy.

Your letters, posts, and ongoing support have already made real impact. Please keep sharing and amplifying—our voices are being heard far beyond Greenburgh now. Share again! Have your kids share our message with their friends! No gesture is too little!

Thank you all for standing together. You are not only protecting our livelihoods; you’re standing up for fairness, transparency, and a community built on integrity.

With appreciation,

The Westchester Wags Team
