Wells Fargo representatives are under orders not to speak to me when I call and to play a recording advising me to contact their attorney, Steve Sidman. It's always been my experience that you don't generally hide behind a lawyer, unless you've done something wrong. Today I sent the following letter to Steven Sidman, Wells Fargo's attorney in this matter. It's anyone's guess if he will actually read it. The recording in the link below, is of the last phone contact I had with Wells Fargo on July 11, 2015. ************* July 16, 2015 Dear Mr. Sidman, My name is Steven Mack. I believe you are already aware of who I am, which is why Wells Fargo representatives now refuse to speak to me when I call, and play a recording into the phone, instructing me to contact you with my written inquiries. That said, I don't know how to make this any clearer to you, or Wells Fargo Bank than, Give Me My Money. On May 20, 2015, I was locked out of my home by law enforcement officers and lost the entire contents of my home as a result, because I could not afford to hire movers, or pay for a storage facility to put my belongings in, because Wells Fargo Bank refused to give me any information on how to obtain the surplus funds from the sale of my home, despite my repeated requests for that information, and Wells Fargo's repeated promises to provide it to me. Undoubtedly, you are aware of the telephone conversation I had with Anthony Schultz on April 27, 2015, during which Mr. Schultz verbally demeaned and degraded me, stating that I was not owed any money from the proceeds of the sale, only to send me a letter on April 29, stating that there were in fact, surplus funds due me and that I would receive contact information and directives on how to claim those funds under separate cover. As of May 20, 2015, I had not received that correspondence, and to date, despite my numerous written and verbal requests, and changing my mailing address to my local branch address, I still have not received it. Had I taken Mr. Schultz at his word as a knowledgable Wells Fargo employee, as his title, Executive Mortgage Specialist suggests, I would have walked away from a sizable amount of money. Quite literally, all the money I have left in the world. No doubt, you are also aware of the countless follow up phone calls I made to Melissa Delariva, who supervises Mr. Shultz, as well as the follow up phone calls I made to Cathryn Bower, who supervises Ms. Delariva, yet in all instances, both failed repeatedly to get back to me as promised, or return my contact. I am now informed, by the California State Assembly attorneys who have offered to help me in this matter, that Wells Fargo outsourced my foreclosure to Cal-Western Reconveyance. I am also informed that prior to the sale of my home, Cal-Western Reconveyance, went out of business and closed its doors, which Wells Fargo was surely aware of. I am further informed that Cal-Western paid Wells Fargo what they claimed was owed on my loan from the proceeds and kept what was left, which explains Wells Fargo's repeated failure to provide the information I was seeking. Because of Wells Fargo's actions, I have lost everything I own. I am now homeless and living in my car. I am terminally ill and in failing health, and in dire need of a safe and sanitary place to live. If not for the help of friends stepping in to help where Wells Fargo failed me, it is likely that I would not be here today. With outdoor temperatures hovering above 90 degrees, and temperatures inside my car, soaring well above that, even in the shadiest of parking spots, the living conditions that Wells Fargo has forced me into, are literally killing me faster. Being ill, it is difficult for me to leave my car, and so I am trapped. In California, locking a dog in a car in these kinds of temperatures is a crime, and most often fatal to the animal. Please don't let me die in my car. Wells Fargo has already been paid what they were owed, yet I am being forced to live in my car while they decide whether to give me what I am owed, or not. I would like to invite you to sign my Change.org petition, asking Wells Fargo to pay me what I am owed, before I die. A search for "Steven Mack" on the change.org website, will direct you to the petition and your support of it would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Steven Mack
