We are a family from Baldivis, WA who adopted a dog named Oakley. Our lives were filled with joy and love with him around. However, our happiness was short-lived when Oakley was abruptly taken away from us without our consent by the haven we adopted him from. They claim there was a breach of contract on our part - an assertion we strongly deny.

My mother is the legal owner of Oakley and they took him without her permission. Now, he is back in the kennel environment where he spends most of his time alone, probably wondering what went wrong. The haven went wrong.

We believe that all dogs deserve a warm and loving home - something that we provided for Oakley during his time with us. It's heartbreaking to think about how he must be feeling now - confused and alone.

This petition aims to bring justice not just for us but more importantly for Oakley who deserves nothing less than love and care which we are willing to provide unconditionally.
