Bruce had a strong protest reaction calling thieves all those who watched the series of Ash vs. Evil Dead from pirate sites. We do not hide behind a finger: Bruce is right. But there are additional reflections. Series like "Stranger Things" or whatever you can see on Netflix is subject to piracy ... but Netflix makes a lot of money. Why? because the sets are done well? not only ... because they are well promoted to the general public. Here in Italy, for example, thanks to the advent of fiber optic for all Netflix given its ridiculous prices has bypassed Sky completely except for sport (especially football). And here there is another problem...the rights of the entire Evil Dead franchise are pulverized among many owners so you can not really create a unique saga that goes from the first evil dead to the end of the television series ... they are all magnificent attempts (more or less) connected to each other by generic ideas but not by very specific bonds that would create a SAGA (like star wars to understand each other better). So now that has been confirmed that Netflix will air (at least in Italy) the whole series of Ash vs. Evil Dead, Now is the time to insist that Netflix uses its monetary power to bring together the whole franchise and really create what it must be done: the EVIL DEAD SAGA. For example, now they are promoting the Musical Inspired by Evil Dead ... and why is not there a public page of the Evil Dead Saga that promotes this latest event linked to this franchise? Today gentlemen Marketing is everything for the success of a series and the audience determine if a series goes or not. As Fans of the Evil Dead Saga we have the duty and the right to ask that everything be brought together under one banner. Why if Mark Hamill or Harrison Ford at 70 did not give up their historical characters and why should Bruce be forced to do so? the idea is that Netflix brings together all the rights of Evil Dead, maybe giving them exclusively to Rob Tapert and his Renaissance Pictures or creating a new container of all the Franchise rights directly inside Netflix. For this contact Netflix, We have to watch on Netflix all the series over and over again and we have to make sure that Audience justifies the Raimi and Bruce to return in his footsteps. Only in this way can we have a great return of our favorite franchise with a solid future.
