Retirement Age, State Pension Proposals, and Tax in Retirement.

The Issue

National UK petition to Parliament, to firstly prevent any further rises in the retirement age (immediately), and secondly, to start reducing the retirement age back to age sixty for everyone, thirdly, increase the retirement state pension by one third, to ensure affordable living in senior years. fourthly, do not tax retired people on state and/or private pensions(immediately). The target age for retirement age of sixty, should be finalised by year 2030, reducing it yearly, and the state pension increased by ten per cent over the next three years.

Far too many people through ill health enjoy sufficient years after decades of contribution and commitment. Far too many struggle unacceptably after decades of working.

It is beyond any form of ethical or moral defence, to keep raising the retirement age, and facilitate low incomes in retirement.
