Mr. Levy has been a dedicated and valued member of the Matawan Aberdeen  Regional School District (MARSD) for many years, contributing significantly to our local educational community in Aberdeen Township, NJ, USA. His dedication to his work and commitment to the students' welfare are unparalleled. However, his position is currently .. well he was laid off due to budget cuts.. Not only was he laid off he is required to finish the school year leaving him ONE day shy from receiving tenure.  This is how we repay a teacher who has gone well above and beyond for our kids.

The impact of losing such an experienced and committed professional would be detrimental not only to the staff but more importantly, to our children's education. According to data from the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), teacher experience correlates positively with student achievement in academic subjects.

We believe that retaining Mr. Levy within MARSD is crucial for maintaining high-quality education standards in our district. We urge you to reconsider this decision ASAP
