My personal experience with Dr. Erin Fairben as the Superintendent of the CCSD has been heartening and fills me with confidence in her abilities. When I met her, she welcomed me with open arms and a promise to do her best for our students, staff, and the community. Dr. Fairben quickly became a symbol of hope and positive change for many of us in the district.

However, now we face a disheartening situation - her untimely retirement. The need for her dedicated services has not diminished, and it's with this thought that we must request a reconsideration of her decision. Dr. Fairben's departure creates a leadership vacuum that demoralizes the students, staff, and community alike.
