The Issue

Hall monitors play a crucial role in ensuring a safe, orderly, and welcoming school environment. They help maintain discipline, assist students and faculty, and contribute to a positive school culture. As such, it is imperative that exceptional hall monitors are recognized, supported, and retained for the benefit of our educational institutions. Mark is a clear example of what is a good hall monitor.

Currently, we face a situation where Mark isn't guaranteed continued employment or support, despite his significant contributions. This instability not only affects the morale of dedicated hall monitors but also impacts the overall safety and environment of our schools as-well as affects students mental health while healthy relationships were made with him being such a good support in the RHS building.

We propose that outstanding hall monitors especially Mark be provided with the recognition and job security they deserve. Furthermore, to enhance their effectiveness, knowledgeable hall monitors should be supported with adequate resources and given access to information and training that can further develop their skills.

By ensuring that great hall monitors are supported and retained, our schools will foster safer, more secure, and more nurturing atmospheres that benefit students, faculty, and the community as a whole. We call on educational leaders and policymakers to implement these measures to support those who are pivotal in maintaining the integrity and safety of our schools.

Sign this petition to support the retention and empowerment of Mark. Your support is crucial in driving positive change in our schools.
