I live in a housing estate in Sheffield, UK, where daily life has been made increasingly difficult and potentially unsafe due to non-resident parking. This situation has escalated to a point where it's not just a nuisance, but a potential threat to life. Emergency vehicles such as ambulances or fire engines wouldfind it challenging to access our neighborhood, which could lead to catastrophic delays in critical situations. 

According to a recent survey by the RAC, it was found that about 44% of residents in UK towns and cities struggle with parking near their homes due to visitors or non-residents, and the issue is particularly acute on our estate. It's a sad reality that our safety and well-being are being compromised for the convenience of non-residents.

We must take action. We are calling on the Sheffield City Council to implement and enforce new regulations limiting non-resident parking on our estate.
