At this time when the issues concerning people of African descent are under the microscope, it is imperative that the fractious nature of the global Black Community, at present, is not exploited by those willing to uphold prejudices, ideologies,  statutes and policies that seek to undermine the Empowerment of Black People and frustrate and stagnate any lasting improvements that have arisen owing to global protests concerning the killing of George Floyd by white police officers in Minnesota,  USA, and other issues relating to inequalities faced by Blacks.

This petition proposes that the Crown Council of Ethiopia can deliver a unifying voice within the Global Black Community as it is free from the vestiges of modern day politics and whose leaders are not tainted with acts that undermine their integrity. This is especially needed as many Black politicians are seemingly hard pressed to vouch safe their integrity as many are part of a system that initiates and perpetuates inequalities facing Black People globally. The Crown Council of Ethiopia represents a unifying cultural and political symbol in the pages of Ethiopian History and the last known Monarch of this Empire did stand for and advocate on behalf African and other oppressed peoples on June 30, 1936.

This petition respectfully calls on the Crown Council of Ethiopia to be the voice of Black People. Consequently, the world will once again hear the unifying and impartial voice of an ancient African political system that will lend weight to the global deliberations seeking to bring an end to the injustices and inequalities meted out to People of African Descent.
