I have lived and worked in Aspen Snowmass for many years and have relied on the early lift operation times at Snowmass to get my ski run in before work. It is more than just a run before heading to work; it's a cherished way of life, a crucial part of our local culture. Village Express lift and Sam's Knob opening at 8:30 am, and all other lifts starting at 9 am, used to give locals like myself, who play an essential role in providing town services, an opportunity to ski before the start of our workday. We are not just residents here, we are a community rooted in our love for skiing and it's partly why we chose to live here. Restoring the original lift opening times at Snowmass is not merely for convenience - it nurtures an integral part of our local identity, something that we have enjoyed and lived for many years. I urge you to stand with us, the heart and soul of the town, and request Aspen Ski Company to revert to the original operating times at Snowmass.
