Restore Punctuality & Give Priority to Hosur–Bengaluru Trains

Restore Punctuality & Give Priority to Hosur–Bengaluru Trains
The Issue
Title:
🚨 Daily Delays Are Affecting 11,779 Commuters — We Need Immediate Action on Hosur ↔ Bengaluru Trains
Petition Description
For the past one month, thousands of working professionals, students, women, senior citizens, and industrial workers who rely on the Hosur–Bengaluru train route have been facing severe delays every single day.
The following trains—lifelines for commuters—have been consistently delayed:
66584 – DPJ–SBC MEMU
06592 – HSRA–YPR EMU
16212 – SA–YPR Express
These are not small delays.
These trains run 45–60 minutes late, both in the morning and evening, leading to massive daily disruptions.
The Daily Pain We Face
Every morning:
We start our day with anxiety, unsure when the train will arrive.
Most of us reach office 1 hour late despite leaving home early.
Coming late daily affects our performance, job security, and mental peace.
Employees working in factories, tech parks, and SEZs are under pressure from their employers.
Students miss first classes and exams.
Every evening:
We reach home 1 hour late, exhausted after long delays and unexpected halts.
We miss time with our families and young children.
Dinner, rest, and personal time get pushed late into the night.
Stress builds up because every day feels like a battle.
Many trains are made to wait for 30+ minutes for crossings due to low priority. Passengers sit helplessly as time is wasted for no reason.
This is not just an inconvenience.
This is affecting:
Health (stress, fatigue, headaches)
Family life
Safety, especially for women traveling late
Productivity and income
Quality of life for thousands of citizens
Who We Are
We are a community of 11,779 daily passengers who depend on these trains.
We contribute to the economy of Bengaluru’s industries, IT parks, and manufacturing units.
We travel responsibly, depend on public transport, and trust the railway system.
But for the last one month, this trust has been shaken.
Our Humble Request
We urge @RailMinIndia, @GMSWR, and @drmsbc to take immediate action:
Give these trains priority in the morning (Hosur → Bengaluru)
Give priority in the evening (Bengaluru → Hosur)
Reduce crossing wait times and unscheduled halts
Restore punctuality and stability for all three trains
Treat these commuter trains as essential for daily livelihood
This is not just a request; it is a plea from thousands of families whose everyday life depends on these trains running on time.
