Unfortunately, hacking has been very prevalent in the Animal Jam Classic game. As early as the 2020 Data Breach many players have lost years worth of their time and money to work toward their hard earned items and even whole accounts despite taking every precaution possible to secure themselves. 

In the earlier days of Animal Jam, AJHQ used to be able to restore hacked items to their rightful owners, but due to the misuse of the feature it was understandably revoked. However, the procedure put in place of this is not adequate and leaves customers disgruntled and disappointed. After speaking to customer service, the player is left with no help or not enough to make up for the loss.

We have entrusted Animal Jam Classic with our emails, credit card information, addresses and full legal names. If this information is not safe nor are the items we have spent money on, how can we be expected to continue playing when hackers fill our community, some consisting of young children that could be preyed on?

It is imperative that as a community we come together and advocate for a safer and fairer game. The goal of this petition is to bring this issue to Animal Jam Headquarter’s attention so they can implement a new policy where people are happy without the trading economy suffering as a result of unfair players trying to cheat the system.
