Transport for NSW has failed to provide concrete evidence from 2013-2016 showing that the 2013 timetable change (with the Lidcombe/Homebush turnbacks) has improved the reliability of services on the Inner West, South and Western Lines. Transport for NSW acknowledges that cuts to Inner West Line trains (removal of Liverpool via Regents Park) and forced interchanges at Birrong, Lidcombe and Strathfield is "A-level impacts = Impact likely to be noticed by the majority of peak period station users".
