Restore Inner West Line - reinstate Liverpool (and Bankstown) via Regents Park train services

The 2013 Sydney Trains timetable is the worst downgrade in a generation with the removal of the City to Liverpool/Bankstown via Regents Park service with the truncation of the Inner West Line at Homebush.

Commuters on the former line now face:

  • Service gaps of 30 minutes
  • 3 additional forced interchanges
  • No direct City services
  • Only 3 trains per weekday

We are campaigning to reinstate the Liverpool/Bankstown via Regents Park train (Inner West Line) to reduce overcrowding, interchanges and increase public transport.

This petition will be delivered to:
  • NSW Opposition Leader
    Luke Foley
  • NSW Transport Minister
    Andrew Constance
  • Director of Operations, Sydney Trains
    Tony Eid
  • NSW Premier & Minister for Western Sydney
    Mike Baird
  • NSW Legislative Assembly & Legislative Council
  • Sydney Trains CEO
    Howard Collins
  • Western Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils
  • Bankstown MP
    Tania Mihailuk
  • Liverpool MP
    Paul Lynch
  • Auburn City Council (Cumberland Council)
  • Strathfield Council
  • Bankstown City Council (Canterbury-Bankstown)
  • Liverpool City Council
  • Metro South (Rail Corridor Management Group Coordinator)
