We’ll be presenting the updated petition signatures to MMD1 soon, and we’re hoping to cross the 200-supporter mark — which would represent more than half of the members in the KC Facebook group, and certainly enough to demonstrate strong community interest.

At the very least, we believe this should earn a place on the agenda for discussion.

If you support reopening fishing access at Kemah Crossing Pond, another helpful step would be reaching out to MMD1 directly and respectfully sharing your support. Hearing from residents individually can make a real difference.
