Dear Supporters,
Thank you for standing with us. Because of your signature—and the collective voice of 1,962+ fully vetted Afghan and Iraqi SIV applicants—we are witnessing real momentum in our fight to restore America’s promise.
✅ Major Progress: A Federal Court Has Spoken
On February 28, 2026, U.S. District Judge Tanya S. Chutkan issued a preliminary injunction in IRAP v. Mullin, ordering:
“The Department of State and Department of Homeland Security shall immediately resume visa issuance for Afghan SIV applicants who have Chief of Mission (COM) approval and completed all security screenings.”
This means: If you have COM approval and full interagency vetting clearance (DOD, DHS, FBI, NCTC), you are legally entitled to receive your visa—and the government must act.
📬 Bipartisan Support Is Growing
On March 13, 2026, 98 Members of Congress—including Republicans like Rep. Seth Moulton, Rep. Richard Neal, and Rep. Bill Foster—sent a powerful letter demanding:
- Immediate resumption of SIV processing,
- Restoration of categorical exemptions,
- A 90-day report to Congress on progress.
They cited our petition as proof of scale and urgency.
⚠️ But There’s a Catch
Despite the court order, many of us still haven’t received visas. The administration has filed a motion to stay (pause) the injunction—and delays continue.
