We are petitioning WhatsApp (Meta) to immediately reinstate the primary admin account of CBN Unfiltered, a vital community news source that was wrongfully banned due to a malicious, coordinated "Brigading" campaign.

For years, CBN Unfiltered has been a central voice in our community, providing critical updates to thousands of subscribers. Suddenly, our primary admin number was permanently banned.

The truth is simple: CBN didn't break WhatsApp’s rules. We were the victim of a coordinated mob attack organized by a competing company designed to trick the system—and WhatsApp let it happen.

We have clear evidence that commercial rivals organized a "mass reporting" campaign to destroy their competition. They distributed a script instructing people to message CBN's admin number and immediately "Mark as Spam" at the exact same time.

They knew that if enough people reported him at once, WhatsApp’s automated safety tools would assume he was a spammer and ban him without a human ever checking the facts.

Your system didn't just fail to stop the bullying; it empowered corporate sabotage.

By automatically banning CBN without checking the context, WhatsApp effectively handed the attackers a loaded weapon. Your safety algorithms were outsmarted by a cheap "copy-paste" trick, and a legitimate news platform is paying the price for a competitor's dirty tactics.

2. Investigate the attackers. Do not let the abusers walk away. Audit the logs and take action against the accounts that participated in this fraudulent reporting campaign.
3. Restore CBN's Status. Unban the CBN Unfiltered admin account immediately.
