Life in Vijaya Gardens, Baridih has taken an unexpected turn since the restriction on the reticulated piped LPG supply began on April 6th. For families like mine, which includes my wife and two school-going children, this reduction in supply hours has posed numerous challenges. Preparing meals for school tiffins used to begin as early as 5:00 a.m. The decision, imposed without any transparent reason, has disrupted our daily routines and compromised our comfort and efficiency at home.

This project initially promised uninterrupted, 24x7 LPG supply through the Shree Indane gas agency, as corroborated by the builder during the apartment handover. Each homeowner bore the financial responsibility for the pipeline under this guarantee. Now, it seems our investments were made under false assurances. Coupled with this, there are worrying gaps in procedure with the Shree Bajrang Indane Gas Agency, wherein customer IDs and KYC documentation haven't been appropriately managed. These documents are essential requirements as per the guidelines set by Indian Oil Corporation Ltd and the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, raising serious concerns for future supply compliance.

Despite attempts to address these issues directly with the agency and my formal complaint before the District Consumer Forum, East Singhbhum, there's been no satisfactory resolution. This unnecessary complication in our essential service provision necessitates immediate corrective actions.

I urge the concerned authorities to restore the 24x7 LPG supply to all phases in Vijaya Gardens as was initially promised. Additionally, it is critical to ensure proper adherence to customer identification and KYC protocols, aligning with national guidelines. By doing so, we safeguard not just our day-to-day domestic needs but also ensure compliance and transparency in agreements going forward.
