Restore #134 Service to Meadow Glen Mall and Fellsway Plaza

The Issue

Restore #134 Service to Meadow Glen Mall and Fellsway Plaza

I oppose the BNRD plan to divert the #134 bus away from the Meadow Glen mall entrance and the Fellsway Plaza.

-Many people, including senior citizens living in Medford Housing, depend on the #134 bus to access the three grocery stores in Medford: Wegmans, Aldi and Stop & Shop.

-The BNRD would force those trying to access Fellsway Plaza to cross Mystic Valley Parkway at the Fellsway, one of the most dangerous intersections in the state.

-Businesses in both Meadow Glen Mall and the Fellsway Plaza would lose significant amounts of business if the #134 is rerouted away from Riverside Ave. and the Fellsway.

I request that the MBTA restore #134 service to the Meadow Glen mall entrance and to the Fellsway.
