A call for the immediate resignation of President Michael I. Kotlikoff and other at fault members of the board of trustees. It has recently come to light that a heinous crime has allegedly been committed at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. None of the men of the frat group responsible were properly reprimanded for their alleged crimes of sexual assault against Jane Doe. Two of the men were expelled, the remaining perpetrators were subject to minimal disciplinary actions such as essay writing.  Essays are forms of academic exercise, not sanctions for abhorrent acts of violence.  Disciplinary actions were not taken promptly or severely. Jane Doe reported the incident less than a month later so the reopening of the case could have been completely avoided if the president of the school Michael I. Kotlikoff and responsible trustees had taken action soon enough.

In short, we call for the following, the immediate resignation of President Michael I. Kotlikoff, resignations of all of the board trustee members who failed to correct, oversaw, and approved of this institutional failure, as well as an independent external review of the case as well as Title IX and disciplinary policies regarding severe offenses.

Justice delayed is justice denied and leaders who protect perpetrators have lost all rights to lead.
